AUBURN, Ala.- The road will be closed on Payne Street at Thach Avenue on Friday, March 6, as crews make an emergency repair to a damaged sewer main. Work is expected to last until late this evening.

Crews will be in place to help residents living in the work zone access their homes. Traffic control measures will be in place to help drivers navigate around the closure. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
